STANDARD FEATURES

Your brand new Sigma II (11, 12 or 13) Tandem system comes loaded features, including: adjustable student harness, magnetic riser covers, adjustable and articulating container harness, double wide ballistic covered leg pads, retractable release handles, spectra reserve ripcord, reserve pin window, and our Skyhook RSL.

Note: All Sigma and Micro Sigma components are compatible with the Sigma II, excluding the reserve ripcord, RSL lanyard, cutaway handle, and recoil system.

OPTIONS

C.O.R.E. / MCS | Comfort Optimized, Reinforced Exterior / Modular Comfort System.

The optional C.O.R.E. / MCS Back Pad is an integrated comfort system designed to improve fit, cushioning, breathability, and overall wearer comfort for the tandem instructor.

The system combines C.O.R.E. (Comfort Optimized Reinforced Exterior) over-the-shoulder padding with a removable MCS (Modular Comfort System) cummerbund-style comfort section. Breathable 3D spacer foam provides additional cushioning and airflow while the wraparound MCS design helps create a closer, more consistent interface between the harness-container and the wearer.

The MCS wraps around the waist and interfaces with the laterals and belly band to help stabilize the harness-container against the wearer and reduce unwanted movement during normal tandem operations. Its contoured, padded construction is intended to enhance comfort and fit without changing the structural or load-bearing function of the harness-container system.

Developed with input from military testing, the C.O.R.E. / MCS Back Pad is designed to improve wearer comfort during repetitive tandem operations while maintaining the durability and functionality required for daily use.

The removable, sectional MCS design allows for easy cleaning, maintenance, and replacement, making C.O.R.E. / MCS a practical comfort upgrade for the Sigma II Tandem System, engineered for the demands of today’s tandem industry.

ALD | ANTI-LINE DUMP MAIN D-BAG

Our newly designed optional Anti-Line Dump Main Deployment Bag evenly distributes line payout during deployment sequence. With significant HEAVY weight testing and packing analysis, we find this deployment bag to be an excellent enhancement reducing parachute wear and maximizing system protection.

Recommended for high elevation drop zones enduring high density altitude deployments.

SIZES

The Sigma II is now available in THREE container sizes (11, 12 or 13).
  • The Sigma II 11 fits a 270 – 310 sqft main parachute with the SR340 reserve.
  • The Sigma II 12 fits the SG340 main with either the SR340 or SR370 reserve, similar to the Micro Sigma.
  • The Sigma II 13 fits either the SG370 or SG395 main and SR370 reserve parachute similar to the Sigma

The VR 360 reserve will fit both 12 and 13 container sizes

The redesigned yoke increases over the shoulder comfort and a +1 OSA standard allows for the sport style magnetic riser cover.  Inspired by the Military TSVH and Vector3 sport harness and container system, the modified yoke provides for a cleaner appearance and aesthetic.

The All-New Patented TB Pulley ripcord design means a reduction in pull force for a clean and easy pull regardless of load. A diagram on the inside of the main pin flap allows for easy confirmation of the new drogue disc release system.

Drogue Pouch corners are angled for housing clearance and ease of replacement. Combined with a pleated designed drogue pouch, in field repairs will become easier. The new main disc cover and center flap designs provide for better protection and cleaner fit and finish.

The revised reserve tray design will reduce wrinkles in the packed container and the new Reserve Pin Cover window allows for quick AAD inspection.

The RSL, with its TRULOCK pin, is designed so that only a hard, straight up pull will cause a left side cutaway and reserve activation, greatly reducing the chance of an accidental functioning. Our RSL is designed to also function as a right-hand reserve ripcord, if the standard left hand reserve ripcord cannot be reached, because of injury or student interference.

A lengthened left side cutaway housing and improved handle locations/yoke structure adequately improve accessibility and function for emergency procedures.

Our redesign of the harness using RW-12 hip flat ring aids in proper harness alignment and maximum comfort. Accompanied by the all new VGH leg pads with an articulated design, creating a more direct drogue release routing configuration.
